Dear MA Parents,
With the approval of the D38 “school resumption plan” voted on Monday evening and published to the community yesterday, the MA Board of Directors will be reviewing that plan; reviewing MA staff, parent, and student survey responses; then looking to finalize and vote on an MA-specific plan in the next week.
We understand that you have given us invaluable input with our previous survey and we thank you. Since that survey went out, we have literally received hundreds of communications from our community, giving more perspective and indications of changed minds. Your voice is essential in this next stage of planning and we ask that you please take a few minutes to update us with your current perspective by completing this new survey:
Please note, every district and school in Colorado – public, charter, or private – must adhere to mandated orders from the Governor. When recommendations, not mandates, are in place, schools and districts have a choice in carrying out those recommendations. Some of our plan may include actions we would implement if/when a mandate is lifted.
We thank you for your time in assisting us with this decision-making process. We appreciate your support of our planning for a healthy and vibrant new school year, while continuing to navigate these unprecedented and challenging times.
Christianna Herrera, COO
Dear MA Students,
The leadership team at MA is working hard to plan for an exciting new academic year; a return to school with as much of a “back-to-normal” plan as possible.
The team would like your inputs. As teachers and administrators plan for you, we ask that you please take some time to answer a few questions. We want to hear from our student body. Your voice and ideas are important!
We thank you for taking the time to let us know what you think and how you feel about plans for returning to school. The survey link is here:
We look forward to receiving your responses. Thank you!
