Diane Andrew was born in South Florida and made Colorado her family’s home in 2018. She began her career as a special education teacher in 2013 after being inspired by her own child’s journey in special education. Soon after becoming a teacher, student engagement using evidence-based behavior principles became a professional passion for Diane. She earned her Masters of Education in Applied Behavior Analysis from Arizona State University in the fall of 2021; and she will sit the exam to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in the fall of 2022. Diane looks forward to applying the knowledge she has gained to support Monument Academy’s learners. Outside of school, Diane resides on a hobby ranch with her family in rural El Paso county, just a few miles east of MA’s secondary campus! She has two high school aged children who have grown up caring for the family’s two horses, four goats, six chickens, two dogs, and three barn cats!
