Phyllis and her husband Sean moved to Colorado Springs in 2012 with their three children and rescue dog. When she is not working, you will find her making memories with family, vacationing in the mountains, binge watching Netflix shows, reading and playing games. After having spent many years in the public school system, Phyllis is thrilled to call Monument Academy home and appreciates the enthusiasm and dedication of her colleagues.
Phyllis is a licensed school counselor with the state of Colorado and joined the MA counseling department in 2018. She graduated from the University of Utah with a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies and received her M.A. in Counseling and Human Services from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. She is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from California Southern University.
